Could anyone provide a step-by-step process for inserting the twitter widget into a user page, in layman's terms, please?

Hi, it would be easy to adapt this Widget to Identi.ca or any microblogging service with StatusNet software?

Identi.ca is microblogging with free/opensource software (StatusNet).

Would be possible a generic microblogging MW-Widget where you could indicate the service?
