This widget aims to embed a tweet to your wiki page. However it's unfinished.

If you want to continue the work, these are the following steps:

  1. Parse the json filed answered by Twitter's oEmbed and get the 'html' field. E.g.: https://api.twitter.com/1/statuses/oembed.json?id=226411482445914114
  2. Render the content of the 'html' field as is

Ideally this widget wouldn't need jQuery nor PHP.

It was created by Pablo Castellano.

To insert this widget, use the following code:

{{#widget:Tweet|id=226413520412090368}}
{{#widget:Tweet|url=https://twitter.com/15Mpedia/status/226413520412090368|lang=en}}

Parameters

  • id - tweet id
  • url - tweet url
  • lang - language of menu labels shown (optional)

NOTE: Choose just one between id and url
