Contributed (with help) the html5media widget to embed all sorts of modern digital media to mediawiki pages.
MP3/WAV music files, MP4/OGG/OGV video files and other media may be embedded (with playback controls) with just a URL of the media file thanks to mediawiki widgets.
Now we have our entire media library accessible in a searchable wiki that allows usage notes to be added and a preview of the video/audio file right in on the wiki page, and all using open source tools!
