Joshua, I've added the widget. I wonder though if access_key parameter is something that is given to the user by Scribd and needs to be parametrized? Also, does Scribd allow different sizes for the widget or is it fixed to 500x450? --Sergey Chernyshev 15:20, May 19, 2008 (UTC)

Access key

Couldn't you build this out like you did with Google Maps where someone just needs to get an API key and then use that instead? Seems like that would be possible. They have their platform here:

Feel free to submit your code - I'll post it. --Sergey Chernyshev 03:27, August 3, 2008 (UTC)

unable to make it run

hi, i am using Widget extension on my wiki but i am unable to run Widget Scribd :( i think on this site also Scribd widget is not working because i am not seeing any embedded widget document even on Scribd page. --119.154.18.135 10:44, February 2, 2011 (MST)

It might be something with your browser because I can see their widget on Scribd page. It uses Flash - you might need to check if you have a plugin. --Sergey Chernyshev 12:47, February 2, 2011 (MST)
Just installed the widget myself and it works great in Chrome, but for some reason it's not rendering in FF v3.6.13. All addons like flashblock and adblock are disabled. Not sure what the problem is exactly, but I'll report back if I figure it out. --Xtraeme 02:02, March 1, 2011 (MST)
Figured it out, explicitly set a height greater than 0 and it becomes visible in FF. Also it's probably better to set the default to "viewMode=scroll" --Xtraeme 03:39, March 1, 2011 (MST)
Yeah, it seems that it broke in latest FF. Can you update the widget with your changes? --Sergey Chernyshev 10:01, March 1, 2011 (MST)
