To copy this widget to your wiki, cut and paste the entire source of the Tweet button widget code page into a page called Widget:Tweet button on your wiki.

If you don't have the Widget extension set up on your wiki, go to its description page on and follow the installation instructions.

This widget allows you to add a Twitter tweet button to your wiki page.

To insert this widget, use the following code:

All parameters are required. Each parameter is separated from the others by a new line, begun with a pipe symbol "|" (don't use spaces in the code). If you want to use the default values, then the only required parameter is profile.

  • text - The text on the tweet button. Default: Tweet.
  • via - related Twitter account to suggest
  • related - related Twitter account to suggest
  • count - How to display the tweet count: vertical, horizontal or none
